Boulderball TEAM CLIMB is a cooperative skill game for 3 players. The players keep the Boulderball suspended in the air using only their fingers on the holds, taking turns as they gradually switch grips. The goal is to complete a given route together – without dropping the ball. It takes precision, teamwork, and coordinated use of strength.

What exactly is Team Climb?

Team Climb is a cooperative Boulderball mode where 2–3 players complete a route together – using only their fingers. The goal: hold the ball and move through the route without dropping it. Each player takes turns holding new grips.

Does the Team Climb set include Boulderball Basic, and can it still be used as a solo game?

Yes! The Team Climb set includes the full Boulderball Basic – including solo routes, route cards, and app access. On top of that, you get the special Team Route Cards and Surprise Cards for cooperative team gameplay. This means the Boulderball can be used both as a solo game and in team mode.

Is it difficult?

Not at all – the rules are easy to learn. The team works step by step, using no more than three fingers at once to keep the ball stable.

How many play modes are there?

Several are included: Team Climb, Team Climb Challenge, Surprise Climb and Surprise Climb Challenge – each with varying levels of difficulty.

How is it different from solo play?

In Team mode, it’s all about cooperation. Instead of solving a route alone, the group must coordinate every move together – great for families, schools or team-building.
